Your NEOOS® is fully compatible with standard Windows operating systems. It is delivered to you in brand-new condition and thoroughly quality-checked.
However, on Windows systems, certain behaviors may occur that are normal and easily resolved. Please see the following notes for guidance.
2. Drive Error Message
Issue
When connecting your NEOOS® to a Windows computer, you may see an error message indicating that the drive has a problem or is damaged.
Explanation
This message is not a cause for concern. It does not mean the drive is faulty or needs repair.

Windows sometimes displays this message when it doesn't immediately recognize the NEOOS® operating system.

You can safely ignore this message.

Your NEOOS® has been delivered in fully working and tested condition.
3. Unfamiliar Files Displayed
Issue
You may notice multiple unknown files when opening your NEOOS® for the first time.
Explanation
This is due to your PC’s file view settings and not a problem with the device itself.

If your computer is set to show hidden operating system files, you may see items like:
fseventsd
,.Spotlight-V100
,.Trashes
, orneoos_upd

To simplify what you see and ensure a clear, user-friendly interface, follow these steps:

Open Windows Explorer

Click on “Options” (top right of the window)

Go to the “View” tab

Under the section “Hidden files and folders”, select:
“Don’t show hidden files, folders, or drives”
We recommend keeping hidden files not displayed for a cleaner interface.
