With FNPLY®, you’ll learn a new language playfully and naturally — without memorizing vocabulary or studying grammar rules.
Getting Started: Dive Right In
-
Open your FNPLY® app and begin your language course.
-
You’ll immediately enter the immersive story of Josh and his friends.
-
A narrator and the characters speak only in the language you're learning.
-
Everything is word-for-word translated (decoding) into English so you always understand what's going on.
📌 You can read along in English while listening to the foreign language — so your brain connects sound, meaning, and sentence structure.
❗️IMPORTANT: You’re not supposed to memorize individual words. Your only goal is to understand the dialogue in context.
If you want to repeat any part, simply tap the small speaker icon in the text to listen again.
🗣 Once You Understand — Start Speaking
When you feel you’ve grasped the dialogue (again — no memorization!), speak the sentence out loud.
-
Tap the microphone icon (bottom-right in the app).
-
Speak the line.
-
Tap again to stop recording.
💬 You can also use the Talk Along feature, where the speaker and you speak simultaneously — perfect for beginners!
✅ Follow These 4 Steps for Maximum Learning Success
Step 1: Read & Understand
🧠 Read the English decoding carefully while your brain absorbs the foreign language in the background.
Goal:
Get a feeling for the story content and the sentence structure.
Step 2: Listen & Imagine
Tap the speaker icon to play the sentence.
Read the decoding again and visualize what’s happening.
Goal:
Repeat this step until you understand the sentence without needing the German translation and you can imagine the scene clearly.
Step 3: Speak Out Loud
🗣 Say the sentence out loud — with or without Talk Along.
Goal:
Get used to hearing yourself speak in the new language and feel natural doing it.
Step 4: Reinforce What You've Learned
💧 After the active session:
-
Listen to a Language Shower to let the new vocabulary sink in.
-
Repeat passively with the NEOOS® via subliminal learning.
📝 Additional Tips
-
🔄 Be patient in the beginning: The sentence structures and vocabulary are completely new for your brain. But each event builds on the last — it gets easier and more familiar as you progress.
-
🧩 You can split events: If an event feels too long, pause halfway and continue the next day — no harm done to your learning success!
-
⏱ Minimum recommendation: Play at least 20 minutes per day for effective progress.
